OUR HOME BUILDING PROCESS —

Westover Construction offers in house design services and also works with client selected architects to build and renovate projects in a timely and transparent manner. From beginning to end, our process is designed to provide clear communication and documentation to meet and exceed client expectations.

1.

Design Build 3 months

Our team can assist you from concept to completion to design and build your dream home. We have designed upwards 100 new homes, additions, and remodels in our 30+ years of experience.

 

The Design/Build option includes:

  • Complete set of blueprints

  • An in-house interior designer to ensure your home is designed to your specifications and budget

  • Interior & exterior architectural renderings to help visualize the home before construction begins

  • Timely deliverables

independent architect 

We work with several highly qualified architects in Estes Park and beyond. If using an independent architect is your desired path, we can recommend several excellent architects for you to interview.

2.

pricing 2-3 weeks

  • Once our team has a complete set of construction documents & a finalized site plan, the pricing process begins. 

  • During this process, you make several decisions on design and certain finishes to enable us to get accurate pricing from our subcontractors. 

  • Once pricing is completed and agreed upon, a detailed spreadsheet will be provided on your online client portal.

  • The online client portal will allow you to follow the process and be aware of the costs as the project progresses.

permitting/decision making 4-8 weeks

3.

  • You will be making numerous decisions before and during the building process.

  • We will provide you with a decision schedule located on the online client portal.

  • Clients working with the design build process will work closely with our interior designer & rendering technician to assist and visualize all decisions both for interior and exterior finishes.

4.

building 7-15 months (Depending on Scope)

  • Your concepts and ideas become a reality! 

  • From start to completion, the building process is where you can see visible progress on a daily basis either in person or through your project journal on the client portal.
